Friday
Dijon

A ride across the heart of France took us into the upper regions of Burgundy, and we began to look for mustard fields along the way to Dijon.

After freshening up in our hotel, we walked to the Cathedral of St. Bénigne, where we met our host, organist Maurice Clerc.

The chief attraction in the Cathedral was the beautiful case of the Gallery organ, built in 1745 by Riepp. We were treated to a recital by M. Clerc, and then invited to the tribune.

After we had time to test the new action for ourselves, we walked to the nearby Reformed Church, where we had the oppurtunity to hear and play the 1997 organ by Mühleisen.
