Tuesday
Reims, on the way to Paris

We spent most of June 13 traveling from Strasbourg to Paris. As luck (and a little planning) would have it, we stopped in Reims for lunch. We had time to walk around the center of the city and spend a little time looking at the Cathedral.

For many of us, the chance to see the organ case associated with de Grigny was as exciting as photographing the well-known “smiling angel.”

Wednesday in Paris

The morning was spent in Ste. Clotilde, playing the Cavaillé-Coll organ of Franck, Tournemire and Langlais.

The afternoon found us at Trinité, with titulaire Naji Hakim.

We ended the afternoon with a sightseeing ride on the Seine in a Bateau Mouche. This photo just shows me along with Judy, Mark, K.C., and my nephew Cart.
