Backyard Bonsai
To be honest, I don’t think anyone else will want to look at these pages; it’s here just to help me keep up with developments in my bonsai. Feel free to look at them if you want to, but know ahead of time that I’m just a beginner. To paraphrase what I heard from someone years ago, I’ve learned what you would expect to learn in the first year of working with bonsai six years in a row. I’ve made the same beginner mistakes time and time again.
But I’m getting better! Really. I am. I haven’t killed a tree since last summer.

Bonsai Containers
These are not all of my containers, they’re just the nicer ones, some of which may never hold a tree. Most of these are signed or stamped, though some of them are just there, being pots I like. The organization here is just something I’ve concocted so I can keep up with them. When I have a tree in the pot, I’ll try to include a photo on the pages with details about the pots.
